The Association of Muslim Schools welcomes Secretary of State, Ed Balls’ announcement that Ofsted are to carry out a survey of ‘the spiritual, moral, social and cultural development of pupils in independent schools'. As Muslim schools we believe that we are at the forefront of preparing children and young people to face the challenges of life in modern Britain and to also contribute in a positive way to wider society.
